Hey! [ There's a small smile on Hinata's lips at hearing Kageyama's voice, and he slows down on his run to plop down on the ground by the cliffs. ]

Mine just says 'blindfolds'. [It's so direct it didn't even come with an explanation.

[ A very understandable and necessary endeavor. ]

Huh, really? [ That's different. His card is lost in his bed sheet somewhere at home, but he remembers what it says. ]

[ There's a pause, just quiet mumbling from Hinata on the other end for a bit. Then, ]

Y-Yeah. He had a crossdressing card, and he was... supposed to do that while... doing things. You know.

[There's silence on Kageyama's end for a long while.]

So... [The thought of wearing the blindfold is an automatic no right now.] What happens if you don't?

[ The silence has Hinata fidgeting, and he'd prefer at least being able to see Kageyama's face to try and decipher what he's feeling.

Not that he's all that good at that, but he tries. ]

Hmmm, I don't think anything happens? But you get stuff if you do them, I think. I don't know what.

Maybe we could get a volleyball? [It's so tempting]

Did... he have to be the one... doing what the card said? Or does it just have to be involved?

[ He's so excited at even the thought that it takes him a while to realize Kageyama's asked more questions. ]

Oh, uh, I think so. I'm not sure, I could be wrong. It seems like it if you're the one given it, you know?

[ Ah, he hadn't been expecting such a quick response, so his tone is coloured with confusion. ]

Huh? Do you have something against them? It's not that big of a deal, is it?

I don't like not seeing what's around me.

[It's the part of the reason he can articulate.]

[ He supposes he can understand that but... ]

If you're using it while doing stuff then you'll just be at home with someone you trust, right? It's not that bad.

[He shakes his head before he realizes they're not on video chat.]

So even if it's me, you wouldn't do it? It'd be weird with your eyes covered?

[ They're not accusing questions, and Hinata's voice is simply gently curious. He wants to know is all. ]

[It's hard to lie, and it's worse trying to lie to Hinata.]

I trust you. It'd still be weird.

[That's a little more than he'd usually say, but all true.]

[ There's a pause, the briefest of silences, and then he speaks up again. ]

Okay. Then we won't use it.

[ Simple as that. Hinata doesn't want him to be uncomfortable, doesn't want to force him into anything especially when he doesn't even know if he wants to do it himself. He doesn't fully understand the situation but... He knows this is the right thing to do. ]

If you want me to wear it I don't mind trying.

[While it's true Hinata closes his eyes when he spikes, Kageyama wasn't really expecting that trust to extend off the court. He's startled into silence for a little longer than Hinata.]

Are you sure? You don't have to either.

[If Hinata's taking his feelings into consideration, he'll do the same. He's not a huge fan of forcing the issue when it comes to this.]

[ Hinata kind of bites back calling him stupid, because this doesn't seem like the right moment and sometimes he's perceptive. ]

Huh? Of course I am. If I wasn't I wouldn't have said it.

[ His voice softens, but the sincerity is still there loud and clear. ]

I trust you. 100%, remember? That's what everyone said. It's true, and I know you wouldn't do anything bad.

[He's suddenly incredibly glad they aren't on video.]

Okay. When do you want to do this?

[That's really nice, but he can't help being a little concerned. Again there's a pause before he continues.]

Hinata, we're not on the court. You don't have to trust me.

[That's his old team, not Karasuno. But he figures he should still throw it out there. There's nothing requiring teammates to trust each other as much as Hinata trusts in him.]

Huh? Are you okay, Kageyama? You're acting a little weird.

[ Well, just that he doesn't expect those words, and they're confusing to Hinata. He doesn't get why the other would say something like that at all. ]

[Or at least, he thinks he is.]

[ Hmm. He'll leave it at that, believing Kageyama absolutely. ]
